The critics, the fans and The Juno’s agree... Yvette Tollar is one of the best vocalists in the country! This special show will feature Serbian jazz saxophonist and composer Jasna Jovicevic and a stellar band that includes Robi Botos, Ernie Tollar, Rich Brown and Larnell Lewis.
Yvette’s CD “Ima” was nominated for a JUNO Award for Best Vocal Jazz Album Of The Year in 2009 and performed on three continents was numerous jazz and world music acts. Jasna has received awards around the world and is currently based in Toronto, performing and recording original compositions that blend jazz and traditional Serbian roots music. This even is part of LULAWORLD 2010.

On Saturday nights, Robert is joined by one of the most entertaining and talented percussionists in Toronto, Great Bob Scott. They accept requests from the audience at all times and are rarely stumped! No cover!
On May 7 at 9pm The Robert Scott Trio host a jazz jam at Novotel. This is only for established musicians who are being invited, but the party is open to the general public. We recommend you arrive early to ensure you’ll get a seat.

World-renowned vibraphone legend Peter Appleyard makes a rare Toronto appearance with his band at The Old Mill Inn for The Thursday Night Jazz Club, a jazz series in the main dining room that has already featured some of the great musicians in North America. Peter will be joined by his all-star band that includes Reg Schager (guitar), John Sherwood (piano), Neil Swainson (bass) and Terry Clarke (drums). There are few showmen in the world who can excite people the way Appleyard can – come see for yourself!

The Ken Page Memorial Trust is a benevolent fund established in 1999 by Anne Page in association with the Toronto Downtown Jazz Society to benefit deserving jazz musicians while serving as a living legacy to tangibly honour the late Ken Page’s devotion to jazz and the professionals who dedicate their live to performing it.
Every year KPMT host a gala event, and once again it will be held in the main dining room of The Old Mill Inn. World renowned jazz artists who will be in town for this event include: Warren Vache, Alan Vache, John Allread, George Masso, Scott Robinson and Jim Galloway.
