"Enter The Scorpion" is a collection of witty lyrics and poignant insights combined with diverse and upbeat scores to showcase his love of hip-hop, lyrical wordplay and classic story telling.

Guests on the CD include: Major Maker, Natalie Donnelly, Mindbender, Sophia Perlman, Kenny Neal Jr., Christopher Estridge and Mark McKay. Many of these great talents will appear at the release party, joining BVD's new live band - known as "Real People" - consisting of Kyle Sullivan on drums, Shafton Thomas on bass and Jordan Posterino on guitar.

Bob Dorough is one of America's great songwriters; having penned songs covered by Mel Torme, Michael Buble, Diana Krall, Blossom Dearie, Ray Charles and countless others. Hits include "Comin' Home Baby", "Devil May Care", "I've Got Just About Everything I Need" and "Conjunction Junction". He is also one of the few singers to ever record with Miles Davis and is as good a story teller as a singer-songwriter.

JAZZ.FM91's popular Sound of Jazz Concert Series™ returns this fall for a 33rd season with an all-star cast of jazz musicians and performers. All shows will be held at The Old Mill Inn and will feature an eclectic mix of master musicians and the brightest newcomers on the scene today. Robert Scott has just received the second pressing of his debut recording, "Pianoptic". He has added the Brian Wilson composition "God Only Knows" to this collection of solo piano recordings - on a $250,000 Bosendorffer Imperial Grand Piano - and has had the graphic design improved as well. Robert has recently performed for Harry Belafonte and Shirley MacLaine and has played with Bill Cosby, Michael Buble and the late great Jeff Healey.

Great Bob Scott is a fiendishly talented drummer, percussionist, artist and performer. His versatility and stage antics are legendary in Canada and much of Europe and the U.S. He has worked with Holly Cole, Mary Magaret O'Hara, Bob Wiseman, Pizzicato Five, Nash The Slash, The Shuffle Demons, Peter Appleyard, John Southworth, Colin Linden and comedians including Jim Carrey, Judy Tenuta, Harland Williams and Sean Cullen.

Sahra is a Celtic harpist and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto who has been performing music professionally for over ten years. Her repertoire includes Celtic (jigs to waltzes), Classical and Renaissance as well as contemporary music. She also plays violin, pennywhistle, flute and sings.

The Royal Jelly Orchestra

The RJO have been performing and recording for over a decade and have seen many of their featured singers, like Sophie Milman and Michael Buble, go on to big things. The band ranges from a seven to thirteen piece band and can feature anywhere from four to ten singers at a given show. Their extensive repertoire and willingness to go from tuxedos to pajamas, allows them maximum flexibility for dining, dancing or soft-seat-watching. The group features award winning musicians, such as: Tony Quarrington, Richard Underhill, Waylen Miki, Brandi Disterheft and Christopher Plock and singers including Heather Bambrick, Terra Hazelton, Roger Clown and Sophia Perlman, to name a few.
