It is narrated by actor Conrad Coates and features the extraordinary talents of Jackie Richardson, 2005 National Jazz Award recipients Kollage, Billy Newton-Davis, along with Saidah Baba Talibah (Salome Bey’s daughter), John Arpin (legendary ragtime pianist), Kamil Dewhurst, Tap Troupe – Funk Factory, Hip Hop Troupe – Thrive! Entertainment, African dance and percussion ensemble – Ngoma, Hameed, “Pan Piper” Shaqq, Toronto Song Lovers and Norbert Botos

Colleen Allen performed to an enthusiastic crowd last month at Lula, and she returns for a special early show to celebrate the release of her debut CD on Timely Manor / Fontana North. Colleen has been busy touring with Molly Johnson for the past few years and has also performed on various instruments (predominately saxophone) with Anne Murray, Gino Vanelli, Holly Cole and Cirque de Soliel.
